Special Issue | Child Development Accounts: Theory, Evidence, and Policy Potential

This special issue presents a series of contributions developed from papers given at Child Development Accounts: Research and Policy Symposium, a November 2008 convening hosted in St. Louis, Missouri, by the CSD and Washington University, the New America Foundation, and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. The broad collection is organized within five subsections that capture the state of innovation at the time of the issue’s publication: Assets and Child Outcomes, CDA Policy and Program Innovations, CDA Policy and Program Innovations Outside the US, Policy Demonstration and Research on CDAs, and Context, Reflections, and Directions.
