Community Economic Development and Social Work

The chapters in this edited collection draw attention to community economic development efforts in the United States and international contexts. The collection was intended to stimulate thinking about social work’s relationship with community economic development, to encourage research, and to develop social work’s curriculum in this area of work. Contributions in this book were simultaneously published in a dual issue of the Journal of Community Practice.
