Assessing Effective Practices of International Service

In partnership with the University of Ottawa, we surveyed more than 300 volunteer partner organizations operating in more than 80 countries in the Global South. We also surveyed more than 50 volunteer sending organizations and conducted in-depth semi-structured interviews with hundreds of volunteer partner organization staff in nine countries. This project aims to understand how the different practices of volunteer-involving organizations influence outcomes. The Principal Investigator  is Rebecca Tiessen at University of Ottawa.
