International Voluntary Service for Development
International Service
CSD is leading a global research agenda to study volunteering for sustainable development. Our scholarship focuses on developing theoretical frameworks to understand and explain the relationships between volunteering and development; cultivating locally informed methods, tools, and processes to understand the contribution of volunteering to global sustainable development goals (including the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals); and understanding the conditions for an enabling environment under which volunteering for development can thrive.
