
DAGIMAWI MOHAMMED is a graduate research assistant at the Center for Social Development, where he contributes to cost-analysis projects, including a local medically tailored meals program for adults with uncontrolled type 2 diabetes. Currently pursuing a dual MBA/MPH at Washington University in St. Louis, Dagimawi brings a multidisciplinary background spanning clinical medicine, healthcare business development, and health policy to innovative problem-solving for complex health and economic challenges.
Beyond CSD, Dagimawi serves on the Policy Advocacy Advisory Committee at the Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement, where he provides strategic advising and participates in designing pilot programs for the 2025–2026 academic year to strengthen real-world policy skills for WashU students.
Across all endeavors, Dagimawi is focused on developing scalable, cost-effective strategies that expand healthcare access, particularly for underserved populations, by addressing the structural and economic drivers of rising medical costs.
