EILEEN EGHAN, MD, is a research assistant with the Center for Social Development and a graduate student pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at Washington University. As a medical doctor, Eileen is passionate about improving health accessibility for vulnerable populations, particularly teenagers living with HIV, and addressing the challenges of stigmatization. Through her previous work as a research assistant with the Institute of Public Health, she developed a deep interest in understanding the factors contributing to recidivism among victims of violent injuries, with a focus on identifying strategies to prevent further harm. Committed to creating inclusive and just societies, Eileen seeks to bridge the gap between research and policy to advance health and educational equity both locally and globally.
