
Laura Brugger (she/her) is an Assistant Research Professor in the Brown School. Laura holds a PhD in Public and Social Policy with a concentration in geospatial analysis. Laura’s work explores spatial relationships across various social issues, especially climate and environmental concerns. Most recently, she has examined how natural disasters, risk, and resilience relate to voting outcomes. In her free time, Laura also enjoys outdoor adventures with her dog, Stevie, playing sports, bike riding, and playing the piano and guitar.
