The Dynamic Welfare State

Join us for a lecture by David Stoesz, PhD, executive director of the MSW program at Kean University. He will discuss his new book, The Dynamic Welfare State, which explains the decline of the classic welfare state and documents the emergence of a third stage.

Dr. Stoesz is the co-author of American Social Welfare Policy, 7th ed. His book Quixote’s Ghost: The Right, the Liberati, and the Future of Social Policy won the Pro Humanitate Literary Award. In 2014, he was appointed Distinguished Fulbright Chair at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom, where he wrote The Dynamic Welfare State.
