Dorothy Stoneman is the Founder and CEO of YouthBuild USA, Inc., a program that aims to enhance education and job skills of low-income youth. YouthBuild USA, Inc is the national support center for over 265 YouthBuild programs in the USA and the sponsor of YouthBuild International. Stoneman is a leader in advocating for youth engagement in civil society. She is chairman of the National YouthBuild Coalition, with nearly 1,000 member organizations in 45 states, Washington D.C., and the Virgin Islands.
This lecture is part of the Ferguson and Beyond Lecture Series and is sponsored by the Washington University’s Provost Office, the Brown School’s Center for Social Development 20th Anniversary, and the Policy Forum.
