In the long tradition of the George Warren Brown School of Social Work, the Center for Social Development is guided by commitments to social justice, inclusion, and the social and economic development of everyone. Our newly published Report to the Community provides an updated overview of CSD’s work and plans.
During 2016, we anticipate major strides in our new areas of work, including smart decarceration of jails and prisons, inclusive neighborhoods, child well-being, youth development, community engagement, and social development aspects of environmental change. CSD’s well-developed work in asset building, financial capability, civic service and engagement, and productive aging will continue to generate policy and practice innovations.
We greatly value your support and welcome your comments and suggestions.
