Geraldine Germain (she/her) is a Research Associate at the Center for Social Development and current PhD student at the University of Washington, where she researches social welfare policy, workforce dynamics, and the economic well-being of children and families. She has led and contributed to projects evaluating childcare and human service workforce dynamics, workplace-based financial stability, and asset-building interventions. With nearly a decade of experience in nonprofit workforce development and social policy research, her work has spanned practice, policy, and research settings.
Geraldine holds an MSW from Washington University in St. Louis and a master’s in economics from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. Her work is driven by a commitment to identifying and advancing effective policy solutions that promote full social and economic inclusion.
