Education Debt and Racial Disparity in College Success

As the need for a college education rises in the job market, the cost of attending a public 4-year university has also dramatically increased. The burden of educational debt is especially high for low-income and minority families. Understanding the current policy issues surrounding student loans and the consequences of education debt is critical to developing appropriate steps in removing this barrier to success.
