This report summarizes findings from a study of the global infrastructure for volunteering. The study identified three main trends: the continued expansion and consolidation of volunteering infrastructure; innovations in technology, modalities and partnerships; and new support for inclusion through volunteering. The study also connected trends to challenges, showing interconnections among infrastructure, context, and resource availability. The findings are suggestive for policy as well as infrastructure.
