Community and National Service Democracy and Civic Engagement Perspectives & Testimonies

Testimony to the Corporation for National and Community Service

By CSD • June 3, 2009October 27, 2021

Ernest Gonzales gives a testimony to The Corporation for National and Community Service on the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act. The Corporation for National Community Service (CNCS) has asked for the community’s input on a wide range of areas that pertain to the expansion, implementation, evaluation, and innovation of the Serve America Act. I’d like to share some ideas on two areas: (i) how to demonstrate the impact of service, and (ii) how to expand opportunities to serve.

Project: Civic Engagement and Service
