The Scottish Children’s Panels as a Catalyst for Civic Engagement and Child Well-Being

This article examines the development of children’s panels in Scotland’s child welfare system, their emphasis on contributions from trained volunteers, and their implications for youth in care. Anne Robertson makes the case that this policy may reveal a sustainable model focused on child well-being and civic engagement.
