Originally published as a special issue of the Journal of Community Practice, this volume emphasizes the importance of financial capability for vulnerable populations and illustrates its effects through several chapters focused on specific subpopulations. Interventions to increase financial capability are also featured, and the discussions have broad implications for ongoing research into methods for empowering vulnerable populations to access financial well-being.
