Social Work Education in Post-Soviet Countries: Progress of Azerbaijan

In Azerbaijan, few trained social workers hold positions in the field, despite a high number of graduates from university social work programs each year. Analyzing data collected during interviews and focus groups with key informants from the government, nongovernmental organizations, universities, social work students, and alumni, this study aims to understand the paradox and offer recommendations for the profession.
