Rosemary Sarri was a pioneering social researcher whose scholarship on social work and the criminal justice system paved the way for reforms in policy and services. In this article for the Encyclopedia of Social Work, Richard Barth and Michael Sherraden review Sarri’s work and present an appreciation of her career at the University of Michigan.
