COVID-19 and the Future of Volunteering for Development: Findings from a Study Conducted for the International Forum for Volunteering in Development

By CSD • October 26, 2020October 8, 2021

This paper shares findings from the International Forum for Volunteering in Development’s COVID-19 and the Future of Volunteering for Development research project. It addresses three aspects of the sector’s COVID-19 experience: What happened to volunteers in the COVID-19 pandemic? What programme innovations and adaptations signal new growth areas in a post-COVID-19 context? And what does the future hold for volunteering for development?
