Interventions Designed to Improve Financial Capability: A Systematic Review

What do we know from the research on interventions to foster financial capability?

This study presents findings from a systematic review assessing evidence on interventions that have combined financial knowledge and skills with access to appropriate financial products and services. The examined interventions differ in methods and tools but share the goal of leveraging the combination of knowledge and access to influence outcomes. Identifying gaps in knowledge, the authors call for additional research and suggest avenues for future inquiry.
