Building Financial Capability Among Low-Income Older Asian Immigrants: The Roles of Financial Access and Locus of Control

Drawing upon in-depth interviews with Asian immigrants in an employment-training program for low-income older adults, this study examines the dynamic processes by which locus of control influences financial access, financial behaviors, and financial outcomes. The results suggest barriers to and facilitators of financial access for the population.
